The 12-year-old Calado has moved to Ludger Beerbaum's stable. The now injured rider, Marco Kutscher, will be riding the gelding out of Calando I x Landraf I. Previously Calado was ridden by Jörg Naeve. The pair triumphed in 2011 at Arezzo's CSI3* GP with a victory. Further they obtained a second place in the World Cup competition of Abu Dhabi and the Nations Cup competitions of Hickstead and Copenhagen. Earlier this year Calado jumped towards a second place at the FEI Furusiyya Nations Cup of Al Ain. While only two months ago the combination got into the top 25% of the GP of Braunschweig.
As Marco currently is injured Henrik von Eckermann will compete Calado at this weekend’s Longines Global Champions Tour in Wiesbaden.
