Canada takes the lead in morning class at Jumping Antwerp

The third day in Antwerp kicked off with a CSI2* on 1.35m hight. Canada had a really good morning, Kara Chad came into the arena with Carona and went really fast through the finish in 59.58 seconds. Carona is a KWPN mare by Untouchable and used to be ridden by Eric Lamaze and Tiffany Foster. But she started her international career with Jonna Ekberg of Stephex Stables. On a few hundredth of seconds slower came the other Canadian Yann Candele through the finish in 59.64 seconds with under his saddle Chaventyno (by Chacco-Blue). The third place was for the Swedish Angelica Augustsson-Zanotelli. She rode Typie du Tillard (by Diamant de Semilly) and stopped the clock in 61.31 seconds. The top five was completed by two Belgian riders. Thibault Philippaerts stopped the chrono in 61.50 seconds and came into the arena with Isoline van de Dorperheide, an offspring by Winningmood van de Arenberg. On the fifth place came also an offspring by Winningmood van de Arenberg, Hunter Van Berimar went clear around the course in 61.76 seconds with on his back Jessica Geurts.
