Canada’s next generation jumping athletes are ready to take on the $25,000 Hermès Under 25 (U25) Team Event, set for Feb. 2, 2018 at the CSI 4* Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) 4 in Wellington, FL. The Hermès U25Team Event is part of a series of classes targeting up-and-coming athletes from around the world during the WEF circuit, and provides the next generation of jumping athletes with the opportunity to gain experience competing as a team - a relatively rare opportunity in equestrian sport. The Team Event will consist of two rounds, and follow FEI Nations’ Cup rules. Teams will be made up of a minimum of three (3) and a maximum of four (4) members. Teams of four athletes will have a “drop score” advantage, where the score of the team member who incurs the most faults will not be counted toward the overall team score.
