It was Ireland's Olympic Rider, Cian O'connor who set the fastest time. Together with the 10-year-old mare Be Gentle (by Ticallux Vere), O'Connor stopped the clock in 69.46 seconds. In the same arena, Ireland lost their Olympic ticket at the European Championships. O'Connor's round was then disturbed by someone of the arena-staff... Today the Irish rider could put a smile finishing more than two seconds faster as runner-up Cassio Rivetti and his 10-year-old Beau Limit (by No Limit). Michael Whitaker and JB's Hot Property finished third after crossing the finish in 72.95 seconds. The top five was completed by Jonathan Gordon aboard PSG Junior and Switzerland's Martin Fuchs with Uzo van het Hobos Z. In the past it was Pius Schwizer who competed Gordon's horse, PSG Junior.
