Citizenguard Taalex from Wathelet to Pessoa

The Belgian rider Gregory Wathelet will no longer be riding Citizenguard Taalex (Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve) in 2017. After only one season together, the stallion is now moving to the stables of Rodrigio Pessoa. "I talked to Gregory and we both think Rodrigo is the right rider for Taalex. We think this is the best option for the career of this horse. We asked Rodrigo to start riding Taalex in Wellington. We've made this decision together and we will continue working with Gregory", Alain Van Campenhout of Citizenguard states. "I've accepted to ride Taalex in America. He's already flying to the US right now. I'm going to take my time with him and I'll start showing him in Wellington", Pessoa reacts. Pessoa currently is in the United States with one of his pupils.
