Colvin Leads on First Night of 2015 Neue Schule/USEF National Junior Jumper Championship

The 2015 Neue Schule/USEF National Junior Jumper Championship kicked off Thursday evening at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show with Phase I of competition, the Speed Leg, as efficiency and clean jumping were of utmost importance in the faults-converted class. Victoria Colvin outran the field of 29 that went to task over Michel Vaillancourt’s track to hold the early lead in the Individual standings. Colvin and Take The High Road LLC’s Cafino finished 6.6 seconds ahead of the second-place finishers after stopping the clock in a time of 58.393. Lucy Deslauriers and Lisa Deslaurier’s Hester sit in second with an impressive time of 64.961 seconds, while Lucas Porter and Sleepy P Ranch LLC’s Phineas are in third with a time of 65.185 seconds.
