In the Spanish town Olivia Ashford Farms triumphed in the GP thanks to Marlon Zanotelli and Ode Des Roches (s. First de Launa). World Champion Philippe Lejeune ended on a fourth place with Once de Kreisker while the Young Rider Constant Van Paesschen (Toscan De Sainte Hermelle) followed his fellow countrymen in 6th place.
Earlier at the MET Van Paesschen was victorious in the Silver Tour. On the back of Ralphy Utopia de Ransbeck (s. Ohio van de Padenborre) Van Paesschen rode a fast Jump-Off in 38:72 seconds, over 2 seconds faster as Italian showjumper Roberto Tuchetto and Abracadabra. Spaniard Diego Perez Bilbao ended third with the Mr.-Blue-mare Quercy Diam.
