Carsten-Otto Nagel's success horse Corradina will be retired during the CHIO5* show in Aachen. The ceremony for the amazing mare will take place before the Mercedes-Benz Nations Cup on the 17th of July. The decision to retire Corradina was made by Nagel and the mare's owner earlier this summer. "Corradina is the horse of my life. She did four championships and won six medals. That is pretty unique! I have been riding her for 12 years - that is a long time that welds together," Carsten-Otto says and continues. "I'm thankful and happy that the ceremony will take place in Aachen. In that way the best horse in the world for me will be thanked off at the best tournament in the world. That is great! Of course I'm already sad, but the life goes on - a new part begins. In the future Corradina will be used for breeding and will for sure bring some wonderful foals to the world."
