CSI Neustadt: German riders and horses dominate Youngster classes

In the German Neustadt, two youngster classes were organized this morning to start the last day of an international CSI2* weekend. In the class for 7-year old horses, it was a German combination who took home the victory. Mario Stevens jumped a clear second phase with his Lordanos mare. He and Loranda 6 crossed the finish line in 29,98 seconds. This was a very close win, another German combinations finished after 29,35 seconds. With this tome Franz-Josef Junior Dahlmann and Capri 100 (f. Comme il Faut) took the second place. The podium was completed by a Danish rider. Soren Pedersen and Tailormade Billy (f. Balou du Rouet) left the wood untouched and finished in 30,43 seconds. The rest of the top five colored all in the German colors: Michael Kölz and Colorfox (f. Colestus) and Jörg Kreutzmann and Chepman (f. Chepetto) ended respectively on fourth and fifth place. In the class for 8-year old horses, the victory went to Poland. Jaroslax Skrzyczynski and his mare Cassia de Lus L (f. Champion de Cord) left the wood untouched and crossed the finish line in 27,01 seconds. With this time he was the clear winner and faster than all German riders, including Felix Hassmann. He and Cantara 77 (f. Canstakko) ended on second place with a time of 28,78 seconds. Jan Wernke and Call me Baby Blue (f. Chacco-Blue) completed the podium. They jumped a clear round in 28,81 seconds. In the 8-year old class, the rest of the top five went to Germany as well.
