CSI New York:Sima Morgello speeds to second victory of the weekend

While everyone is waiting for the big 'clash' between The USA en Europe this evening. It was up to the CSI2* riders to enter the show ground to show their worth. In the 1m15 class, the victory went to Sima Morgello. Morgello already won this class earlier this week, but today she was the fastest as well in a jump-off with 13 riders. With the 15-year old KWPN mare Zopala (f. Boreas) she jumped a clear round in 29,07 seconds. With this time she beat Sandra Zimmerli. Zimmerli cleared the course with Chardonay Haras Des Barrages (f. Kashmir van Schuttershof) and finished in 29,23 seconds. Arianna Tucker and Scarlet (f. Chelsey Cat) completed the top three. They left the wood untouched and finished in 29,64 seconds. Summer Paulos ended on fourth and fifth place. For the fourth place, she saddled Balans RV (f. Cardento). She counted on Quilotta 2 (f. Quidam de Revel) to ride to the fifth place. Earlier today a 1m40 class was ridden as well. This class was a table A, meaning that riders were riding in two phases. Once again the victory went to the US. Cara Reather Carey and her 10-year old mare Lady Like 46 (f. Light On) speeded through the course, leaving the wood untouched. They finished in 23,15 seconds. With this time they beat Katherine A. Dinan and Ulpi N de Brekka (f. Diamant de Semilly) who ended on second place. This combination jumped a clear round as well and finished in 23,26 seconds. The Irish rider Christian Doyle took the third place on the podium. He rode the 11-year old KWPN gelding Dolman (f. Colman) to the finish line in 23,59 seconds. Sandra Dalman (Derina) and Jonathan Corrigan (Joki de Boerendans) completed the top five. They ended respectively on fourth and fifth place. Click here for all results
