In Salzburg, everyone was looking forward to the Longines Rankingclass. In this 'S. Oliver Preis', 37 combinations entered the show ring. Seven of them jumped a clear first round and came back for the jump-off. The victory went to the German rider Hans-Dieter Dreher. Dreher saddled the 12-year old Cool and Easy (f. Contender) and crossed the finish line in 42,11 seconds. This was enough to win the class. The second place went to Wilm Vermeir. With IQ van het Steentje (f. Toulon) under the saddle, he jumped a clear jump-off in 42,53 seconds. The Austrian Julia Kayser completed the top three. With the Zangersheide bred Sterrehof's Cayetano Z (f. Cor de la Bruyere), he left the wood untouched and finished in 43,65 seconds. Lawrence Greene (Arriverderci) and Gert-Jan Bruggink (MCB Ulke) ended on fourth and fifth place.
