In Verona, the last competition of today has just been ridden. This class was sponsored by 'Cavalleria Toscana' and was a 'Speed and Handiness' competitie. 22 combinations entered the show ring, but it were the Italian riders who ruled the show in front of their home crowd. The top eight colored almost completely in the Italian 'tricolore', Henrik von Eckermann was the only one who could prevent an all-Italian party. He ended on fourth place with Little Lord (f. Lasino). This Swedish combination jumped a very fast round, but because of a jumping penalty (and 4 penalty seconds) they ended just outside the top three. The victory went to the Italian rider Juan Carlos Garcia. With Moka de Mescam (f. Melkior du Montois) under the saddle, he finishte in 63,74 seconds. With this time he was over a second faster than Mirco Casadei who ended on second place with Flickfox (f. Polyfox). Gianni Govoni and Larbraker (f. Larino) signed for third place. They left the wood untouched and finished in 65,02 seconds. Emanuele Gaudiano jumped a fast round as well with Guess (f. Bentley van de Heffinck) but because of a jumping penalty they ended on fifth place. Click here for the results
