Dutch rider Jur Vrieling has started his weekend in Mechelen, Belgium with a bang by winning two classes today (Saturday 27th). His biggest win came in the Land Rover Masters where he and the 10 year old stallion VDL Zirocco Blue N.O.P navigated the first round beautifully to progress to the jump-off, where they took the win. Frecnhman Simon Delestre finished in second place with Csarina de Fuyssieux, while home rider Olivier Philippaerts finshed third with Armstrong van de Kapel. As a result of his win, Vrieling won a shiny new Land Rover ! Vrieling : "I rode Zirocco Blue VDL N.O.P. today for the first time in the Masters. After Simon Delestre had gone first in the jump off I thought he was the winner. But Zirocco is such a fantastic horse with all the power and he is so careful so I could go flat out. I always had a good distance to the jumps so everything stayed up. " Full Results Photo - Equnews.be
