Belgian rider Gregory Wathelet took the competition by storm when he won the 1.55m Longines Grand Prix in style with his new horse Citizenguard Taalex. The stallion was previously competed by Wathelet's teammate Constant van Paesschen. Sixteen riders made it to the jump-off, after forty four riders contested the tricky first round. In the jump-off Wathelet was almost two seconds faster than Irish speed merchant Denis Lynch with the breathtaking stallion All Star 5. Home rider Martin Fuchs took third place with the gelding Clooney, which thrilled the knowledgeable Swiss crowd. Swedish rider Henrik von Eckermann took fourth place with Giljandro van den Bosrand, while Dutch rider Harrie Smolders completed the top five with the stallion Don VHP Z. FULL RESULTS
