Riding for France, Cyril Bouvard and the Quasi Modo Z (Querlybet Hero x Quidam de Revel) won the CSI4* Grand Prix in Poznan on Sunday. The French rider had one of only two clears in the first round of this 1.60 competition, and playing it safe in round two – as second-to-last to go – Bouvard took his time to record a time penalty which was still good enough to take home the win. Poland’s own Mściwoj Kiecoń on Urbane (Landeur x Winckenburgh) had the other clear from the first round, but took a risk as the final rider in the ring and had to settle for 5th place. The runner-up was Thomas Velin with Chopin Van Het Moleneind (Quick Star x Darco). Another Danish rider, Andreas Schou with Lenardo Der Kleine (Lenardo x Fabelhaft) – ended third. Velin recorded three time faults over the two rounds, while Schou had four faults from the first and was clear in the second. Robert Bruel and Arsouille Du Seigneur finished fourth.
