Yesterday's winning pair, Patrik Spits and Bellisimo Z placed tenth today, ensuring their place for the ultimate final. Nando de Miranda and Czarina Jmen (by Clavigo Jmen) finished on top fo the class. The pair crossed the finish in 60.19 seconds. France's Pierre Ducoste and Vilmar de Mescam (by Quartz du Chanu Sfb) followed as runner-up after a clear finish in 60.72 seconds. Ducoste's compatriot, Pierre Coiteux Fontaine followed in a third pace with the Ogano Sitte-daughter, Vista d Chalet. Belgium's Koen Vereecke continued in a fourth place with the BWP-mare Jativia (by Cardento). Linda Heed and Jarvis van d'Abelendreef (by Nabab de Rêve) completed the top five. The latter horse is the half brother of Kirsten Coe's Baroness van d'Abelendreef.
