Daniel Deusser speeds to victory in Lier's Longines Ranking class

The 1.45m CSI2* Longines Ranking class in Lier was claimed by Germany's top show jumping rider Daniel Deusser. The Class was also the Grand Prix qualifier. Deusser and the 11-year-old Cornet Obolensky-son, Cortani, speeded to victory in a total of 70.68 seconds. Belgium's former chef d'equipe, Dirk Demeersman, settled as runner-up after a clear round in 71.63 seconds. Demeersman and Willy Vannitsen's Justice van het Reigershof (by Clinton) crossed the finish faultless. The pair stayed ahead of Stephanie Andries. Andries placed fourth yesterday and returned today to claim the third spot aboard her Darco-gelding, Cicero.   The top five was completed by Maelle Martin with Tempo du Plix (by Conterno Grande) in fourth and Japan's Toshiki Masui with TaloubetDarco K Z (by Taloubet K) in fifth.     Click here for the results
