Daniel Deusser just did it again. After a magnificent victory in the Grand Prix of Paris two weeks ago, the German rider won the Snowman Stakes in London today. In Paris, he competed with Cornet d'Amour, but today he was aboard SX Hidalgo VG, a ten-year-old Belgian bred gelding by Quadrillo. His victory was a close call, since Olivier Robert and Vivaldi des Meneaux (Chippendale Z) just needed 0,03 second more and took the second place with a time of 42,35 seconds. Harrie Smolders and the amazing Zinius (Nabab de Reve) also closed in on Deusser. They took the third place with 42,47 seconds. The British riders also rode some nice rounds. Amanda Derbyshire started with her Irish Luibanta BH (Luidam), and went clear. With a time of 46,62 seconds, she finished fourth. Scott Brash followed with Hello Mr President (Comme d'Api Jr).
