Darragh Kenny dominates the Vilamoura Ranking class

Ireland's show jumping rider, Darragh Kenny seems to have found his favorit ground at the Vilamoura Tour in Portugal. Today Kenny dominates the stage in the 1.45m Longines Ranking Class. A total of 86 combinations took the star. Kenny and the 9-year-old Catuso (Canto x Corrado I) crossed the finish in 66.91 seconds, good for victory. Aboard the 11-year-old Belgian Warmblood-mare Fixdesign van 't Heike (by Action Breaker), Kenny followed as runner-up. Belgium's European Vice Champion, Gregory Wathelet completed the stage after a clear round in 67.85 seconds. Together with Mjt Nevados S (by Calvados Z), Wathelet was one of the 14 combinations that produced a clear round. Dutch female rider, Sanne Thijssen and Ulena (Baloubet du Rouet x Indoctro) followed in a fourth place. Kenny's girlfriend, Great-Britain's leading lady, Jessica Mendoza completed the top five. Together with Wan Architect she finished clear in 69.84 seconds.
