Darragh Kenny takes the lead in GCT Shanghai

The second class of the Global Champions Tour in Shanghai was a CSI5* in two phases. The Irishmen Darragh Kenny was the fastest in the jump off. He came into the arena with Charly Chaplin S, a KWPN offspring by Harley VDL who stopped the clock in 38.87 seconds. With a few hundredth of seconds difference the German David Will came into the second place.  He rode with Mic Mac du Tillard (by Cruising) and went through the finish line in 39.10 seconds. On the third place came the Belgian rider Jos Verlooy. He was on the back of Caracas (by Casall) and stopped the time in 39.82 seconds. On the fourth place came another German rider Marcus Ehning with Funky Fred (by For Pleasure) with a time of 40.43 seconds. The top five was completed by Niels Bruynseels with under his saddle Angel van't Hof (by Chin Chin). This Belgian combination rode a clear jump off in 41.02 seconds. Click here for all the results.
