Darragh Kenny takes the win in Florida

The first week of the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida is almost at an end. Last night the Irish Darragh Kenny speeded to victory in the 1.40m Table C. Aboard the 10-year-old Belgian Warmbred-mare Glamour van de Kakebee (Chatman x ERos Platière) the Irish rider finished in 63.73 seconds. Kenny and the Breeding product of Henri Brebels were followed by USA's Laura Chapot and her 15-year-old Shooting Star (by Phin Phin). The pair did the best effort, taking short turns and leaving out some strides. The clock stopped in 65.54 seconds, a nice time and round for Chapot and her gelding who returned into the ring after about 4 years. Laura Kraut and Tua Efele followed in a third place with a finish in 66.34 seconds. The top five was completed by Kaitlin Campbell (Rocky W) and Matthew Williams (Alverina 2) in a fourth and fifth place. CLICK HERE FOR RESULTS
