The Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show (“LAOHS”) returns for the second consecutive year at the legendary Pampelonne Beach, located on the Saint-Tropez peninsula, a favorite spot for international jet-setters. The exceptional event that combines sport and elegance, is organized by Brazilian rider, Alvaro Affonso de Miranda Neto, known as "Doda", and his wife, rider Athina Onassis. He is 52nd in the FEI ranking and twice Olympic medalist. Longines, the Swiss watch brand, partners with the event that features two competitions: the CSI5*, the highest level show jumping competition and the CSI2* for amateur riders. 35 of the world's best riders and horses are invited to participate in the CSI5* competition which includes the Longines Grand Prix, to win € 300,000 in prize money, scheduled for Saturday June 6 as the Grande Finale to the three days. This is an exceptional year since 65 amateur couples will have the privilege of participating in the CSI2* in the same conditions as the most prestigious riders and sharing the same arena.
