David Frédéric and Marion Hughes take the win in Abu Dhabi

Today only the Grand Prix qualifier is left in Abu Dhabi. Today France's David Frédéric jumped to victory aboard the 12-year-old Baloubet du Rouet-son, Baloussini. The pair was the only clear round in the jump-off in a time of 34.11 seconds. USA's Annabel Joost followed in a second place with the 13-year-old gelding Letkiss 20 (by Levisto). Joost crossed the finish in 42.93 seconds resulting in one time penalty. Alice Clero Debany and the 12-year-old KWPN-mare Amareusa S (by Baloubet du Rouet) placed third. Debany set a record time of 32.45 seconds but also jumped one rail down. The top five was completed by Jesus Luis Escobar with Conjurer (by Coronado) in a fourth place and Andrea Herck with the 9-year-old Idarquithago (by Darco) in fifth. Idarquithago is the former mount of Belgium's Olivier Philippaerts. Earlier today Ireland's Marion Hughes and Heritage HHS Fortuna (by Heritage Fortunus) jumped to victory in the morning 1.25m class.
