Derin Demirsoy jumps to the win in Doha's Longines Ranking

In Doha's CSI4* worldcup Longines Ranking class a total of eight combinations qualified for the jump-off. Eventually only four managed to produce a double clear round in theis 1.40m / 1.60m class.   Derin Demirsoy set the fastest time aboard his 12-year-old Harry K (by Equest Carnute). The pair recently competed at the CSI3* inLiège, Belgium, placing 9th in the 1.50m class. Today Demirsoy crossed the finish in 44.55 seconds. Ramzy Al Duhami had to be satisfied with a runner-up position today. Earlier this week Duhami claimed two victories aboard his Belgian Warmblood horse, Garlic vh Kapelhof (by Tauber vh Kapelhof). The pair stopped the time in 46,80 seconds, only a bit faster as Qatar's Khalid Al Emadi. Emadi and Tamira IV (by Damiro) set the timer at 47.05 seconds. Edwina Tops Alexander was the last clear round in the Jump-off. Together with her For Pleasure-mare, Florette van het Lambroeck she placed fourth. The top five was completed by Ibrahim Hani Bisharat and the Zangersheide-bred, Bowie Z (by Balou du Rouet). The combination set a record time but jumped one rail down.
