Doron Kuipers takes victorious start at the London Olympia Horse Show

Today the international show jumping action in Great-Britain's capital, London, kicked-off with the 1.45m Welcome Stakes. It was Dutch show jumping rider, Doron Kuipers who jumped his 8-year-old KWPN-sire, Freestyle to victory. (continue after Quick Results)

Kuipers and the Cantos-son were the only combination to keep the timer under 27 seconds. As one of the last pairs to go, Darragh Kenny eventually settled for a runner-up with his BBilly Mexico-son, Billy Dorito. Kuipers' compatriot, Maikel van der Vleuten completed the stage aboard his Zangersheide-gelding, Beauville Z (Bustique). The pair was followed by Laura Kraut with SFS Vicomte (Veni Vidi Vici). Shane Breen completed the top five with Yacuma BK (Calvaro Z). Results
