Yesterdays opening CSI5* at the Saut Hermés in Paris went to the Netherland’s Marc Houtzager on Sterrehof’s Uppity (Guidam x Epilot). With the fastest round of the day at 50.54 seconds Houtzager was the best in this race against the clock 1.45/1.50 speed course. Runner up to Marc was another Dutch rider; Maikel van der Vleuten on VDL Groep Eureka (Chin Chin x Quidam de Revel) who rode to a time of 51.18 seconds.
