Ehning shows topclass in Amsterdam and speeds to victory

In Amsterdan the 'Integro Prize' has just been ridden. In this 1,45m class, the riders we're jumping in two phases. The course seemed more difficult than expected: a lot of combination got jumping penalties on the last fence of the first phase. Eventually it was Marcus Ehning who showed why he's one of the top riders of the world. With Calanda 42 (f. Calido I) under the saddle, he rushed to the finish line in 28,93 seconds. With this time he beat the Dutch rider Remco Been who clearly wanted to win in front of his home crowd. With the 16-year old KWPN mare Lumen Lady (f. Guidam) under the saddle, he crossed the finish line after 29,44 seconds. Sander Geerink ended on third place with Bently N. (f. Numero Uno). This Dutch combination left the wood untouched and finished in 30,15 seconds. They already jumped the 1,40m class today where they took the second place. The fourth place went to the Turkish rider Omer Karaevli. With his KWPN horse Dadjak ter Puttenen (f. Toulon), he jumped a clear round in 30,24 seconds. Patrice Delaveau completed the top five. He rode the 12-year old KWPN mare Aquila HDC (f. Ovidius) to the finish line in 30,74 seconds. Click here for the results
