The international 1.55m fourstar Grand Prix 'Der Deutschen Kreditbank (DKB)' in Gross Viegeln was no match for the in Germany living, Italian show jumping rider, Emanuele Gaudiano. Gaudiano succeeded in victory aboard the only 8-year-old gelding, Chalou (Chacco Blue x Baloubet du Rouet). Coursebuilder Marco Hesse had build an exciting 13-counting fence course for the 45 starters in this class. Gaudiano speeded to victory in 39.25 seconds. A victory good for 6,300 euro and a new Mitshubishi ASX. Germany's, Patrick Stühlmeyer followed as runner-up with his trusted 14-year-old Lando-sire, Lacan 2. The combination stopped the clock in 39.73 seconds. "Patrick was fast, but just not fast enough," smiles Gaudiano. "Next year I'll be back in this lovely competition." concludes Gaudiano. Derin Demirsoy followed in a third place with the 13-year Harry K (by Equest Carnute) while Ulf Ebel and the 13-year-old gelding Les Lennet (Livello x Cascavelle) placed outside the stage in a fourth place.
