Eric Lamaze wins and disqualifies at the same time in Aachen

Earlier today former Olympic Champion, Eric Lamaze, won the Youngster Cup in Aachen with his 8-year-old Picobello Z (by Cardento). However according to the new horse-boots regulations, that were officially starting July, the horse-rider combination was disqualified. The victory now is for Denis Nielsen and Special One 2 (by Stakkato). The new number two is Marcus Ehning and Gaudi (by OGano Sitte). The 7-year-old Belgian Warmbred Ho Go van de Padenborre (by Darco) completed the stage with Irish rider Denis Lynch. Tiffany Foster and Brighton (by Contender) made sure a Canadian was in the top five, after claiming the fifth position. click here for the results
