Evelina Tovek wins the Grand Prix of Rome

In Rome, Italy, the day ended with a exciting Grand Prix at 1m60 on the programm. This five star GP was won by Swedish rider Evelina Tovek. With her Castello 194 (by Cristallo) she was the fastest rider with a clear round in the jump-off. Only three riders made it to the jump-off. In second place it was Dutch rider Harrie Smolders and his Zangersheide stallion Don VHP Z (by Diamant de Semilly) with whom he won 60.000 euros. The combination crossed the finishline in 52.43 seconds. Also on the podium we found Marcus Ehning for Germany with his Funky Fred (by For Pleasure). Ehning decided to take the risk and went all in, but ended with four penalties with the fastest time of 47.90 seconds. Completing the top five we find in fourth place Scott Brash with Hello Forever (by For Pleasure) with whom he ended up with four penalties in the first round. This was also the case for Kevin Staut and his For Joy van 't Zorgvliet HDC (by For Pleasure) who ended in fifth place.   Find all results here
