Eventer wins GP qualifier first week Z-Tour

The 1.45m GP qualifier in Lanaken, at Zangersheide, was claimed by German eventing rider Michael Jung. Aboard the 10-year-old Sportsmann S (by Stolzenberg) he left several big show jumping names behind him. Dutch Piet Raijmakers Jr. finished second with Van Schijndel's Valentino (by Cavalier). Third place was reserved for Philip Ruping and Carlsson (by Carpalo). Z-rider, Christian Ahlmann finished fourth with CHaranto (by Charisma). In the 1.25m it was Danny Stappaerts and Casca Belle 3 Z(by Clearway) who rode to victory. Jean-Jacques Lorquet and Record de Virton followed in a second place. Aboard Quetsche du Breau he also finished third.
