Felicie Bertrand takes the gold at the Mediterranean Games

While Portugal jumped to the gold team medal at the Mediterraenean Games in Tarragona, it was France's Felicie Bertrand who claimed the individual gold medal. Aboard Sultana des Ibis (f. Quidam de Revel), Bertrand was the only rider who made a clear overall performance. Female compatriot, Alexandra Paillot followed as runner-up with Tonio La Goutelle (f. Ogrion des Champs). Paillot umped one rail down in the final jump-off, the same as Egypt's Abdel Said who took the start with his 11-year-old Hope Van Scherpen Donder. Together with the Quadrillo-mare, Said took the bronze medal with only one jumping fault in the final jump-off. Click here for the results
