Flip's Little Sparrow to enjoy sportive retirement

Aged, 16-years-old Flip's Little Sparrow (Cardento 933 x Robin Z) can enjoy her sportive retirement. It is Sweden's Stephanie Holmen who announced the news on her social media. "Thank you for bringing me around the world for the past five years," she writes.

Holmen took over the reins in 2017 from compatriot and employer, Peder Fredricson. Together with Holmen the mare won the 2016 CSI5* World Cup of Zürich (SUI) and the Grand Prix competitions of Ciekocinko, Opglabbeek and Roeser. Earlier this year the combination was a part of the Silver winning team at the FEI CSIO5* Nations Cup finals in Barcelona.

"Thank you for always wanting to do your best. Thank you for being the highlight every day, at home and at the competition. You will be missed, the most beautiful both inside and out. Thanks for everything," Holmen concludes.
