A total of 24 horse-rider combinations managed to ride a clear round in the second round of the European Championships Show jumping in Aachen. So far France is still in the lead with a total of 5.700 points, having all combinations clear in today's 1st round.
Team the Netherlands follow in second place with 7.820 points, followed by team Germany. The provisional top five is completed by Great-Britain and Ukrain.
Individual it is still Pénélope Leprevost and Flora de Mariposa who is in the lead. A total of 0 penalties. Ludger Beerbaum (Chiara 222) follow with 0.75 points. Great-Britains Joe Clee (Utamaro d'Ecaussines) made it to the provisional third place.
The interim top five is completed by Belgium's Gregory Wathelet (Conrad de Hus) and Spain's Sergio Alvarez Moya (Carlo 273).
The best 10 countries will go the the 2nd Team round show jumping. Unfortunate news for Belgium ending 11th, Fortunate for Sweden being selected with 19.3 points.
