The Belgian rider Geoffry Cobbaut did make a strong beginning of his CSI2*-experience on Peter Postelman's venue. Together with the CSIO, which will start tomorrow, the international show jumping audience collected on the green and sand-fields of the former top riders. The opening- 1m35-competition offered a total of 14 starters in the Jump Off.
On the back of Ferrari Royal (s. Obession) Cobbaut finished in a time of 37:69 seconds. Virginie Thonon (Kosovo) followed on a second place while the Swedish Erica Swartz and the 8-year-old Catoki-mare Catika vd Helle completed the stage after a clear round in 41:84 seconds. The top five continued with Pieter Devos and Filline vd Veldhoek (s. Cartier vd Heffinck) and the Italian Juan Carlos Garcia with the Belgian Warmbred Gitano van Berkenbroeck (s. Nabab de Rêve).
