This afternoons Longines Global Champions Tour of Hamburg turned out to be a surprise as German rider Kartin Eckermann won over Scott Brash and Ben Maher who came in second and third at the German harbor city. With seven clear rounds and Nick Skelton pulling out before the jump-off there six riders competed for the price money. In front of a home crowd it was Eckermann and her ride Firth of Lorne that beat the number one in the world, Scott Brash, and Ben Maher by setting a time of 36.16. Ludger Beerbaum rode his Chaman to fourth place in style and Luciana Diniz and Fit For Fun 13 came in fifth. Click here for all results.
