German Veterans take the European title

In Arezzo, Italy the European Veterans have battled out their team Championships at the FEI European Championships for Veterans. In the end Germany took home the Gold. Udo Kloetzel (Wybren), Ernst-Frieder Homberger (Cliff H) both rode a double clear round. Boris Miksa and Quidam's Rossini jumped one rail down in the first round, but restored in the second round with a clear result. Manfred Villman (Albasso) was the fourth rider of the team. With a total of 4 points Germany took a big advantage on runner-up Italy. The Italian team places second with 12 points. For Italy Susanna Violanti and Fixdesign Lovestar were the only combination that rode a double clear round. Belgium's veteran team placed third with a total of 16 points.  For Belgium Dirk Vlerick and Jaguar van 't Oosteindeken rode a double faultless track. Great-Britain and France completed the team top five in a fourth and fifth place.
