Germany swipes away the top 3 in Twente

In tonights Gold Tour at CSI3* in Twente it was neighboring country Germany who obliterated the rest of the field in the 1.40m jumping competition on time. Leader of the pack was Lars  Nieberg with his Hannoverian Galippo 5, whilst countrymen Markus Renzel and Jörg Naeve took second and third place. Nieberg was a league of his own with his quick chestnut Galippo 5 (v. Giorgo) he finished the big course in a mere 57.20 seconds and claiming the top spot for his country. Even his own 'team' could not beat t at his game tonight with Renzel and his Quidam´s Rubin mare Quick Step 53 finishing more then a second later. And Naeve steering  D´accord 68 (v. Diamant De Semilly) to the third place in 60.88 seconds. Dutch rider Dominique Roelofsen fought valiantly but did not manage to secure a top 3 spot finishing in fourth with het Holsteiner Quidaro (v. Quidam De Revel). Australian James  Paterson - Robinson and the KWPN bred Clintissima (v. Clinton) completed the top 5. For full results go here.
