Germany wins CSIO5* Nations Cup in Abu Dhabi

In the CSIO5* Nations Cup of the United Arabian Emirates, the German team just took the first place.

The German team, led by Manfred Schlüsselburg, was formed by Mario Stevens with Talisman de Mazure (Quincy), Sven Schlüsselburg with Bud Spencer, Miriam Schneider with Fidelius G (For Edition) and Philipp Weishaupt with Catokia (Catoki). In the first round, Stevens and Weishaupt went clear. Schlüsselburg got one penalty for time and Schneider had 8 penalties. In the second round, Stevens got four penalites, Schlüsselburg made another time fault and Schneider went clear. Weishaupt retired for this round, and so the German team finished with 6 penalties. The Irish team with Trevor Breen - Escapade H (Vingino), David Simpson - Jenson (Verdi TN), Shane Breen - Ipswich vd Wolfsakker (Carembar de Muze) and Mark McAuley - Jasco vd Bisschop (Dulf vd Bisschop) finished second. In the first round, McAuley and Breen went clear, Simpson did the same in the second round. The third place went to the United Arabian Emirates.
