Gerrit Nieberg ensure a save victory in the Grand Prix of Frankfurt

The 1m55 Grand Prix of Frankfurt fell prey to Germany's own Gerrit Nieberg. He finished with a 'save' ride in the saddle of his Holstein Contagio (by Colman). The combination was the only pair that finished with a double clear round in the jump-off, taking their time to finish without penalties. He won a Mercedes A 160 series. Only five combinations made it to the jump-off, where all risks where taken for the win, but not without faults. Germany's Felix Haßmann who is known to be a speeddevil, finished with the fastest time in the saddle of his Cayenne WZ (by Claudio). The combination jumped to a time of 35.22 seconds, ensuring the fastest round, but had to leave the ring with four penalties. The same went for Dutch rider Gert-Jan Bruggink and his Vampire (by Marome NW) with whom he finished in 36.87 seconds on the clock, but also with four penalties behind their name. Danish rider Martin Denesen and Cannery (by Caretino) finished in fourth place. The pair also endured four penalties in their ride, finishing in 38.00 seconds. Germany's Holger Hetzel and his Legioner 2 (by Limbus) completed the top five with eight penalties and a time of 40.40 seconds.   Find all results here
