Gilles Thomas speeds to victory in Mechelen

This morning the five star action kicked-off at the Christmas Horse show in Mechelen. In te 1.40m opening class it was Gilles Thomas who ensured a home win with his 8-year-old sBs-stallion, Edison van Schuttershof.

The Belgian youth rider jumped to victory aboard Kim Van Impe's black stallion in 60.88 seconds. As one of the last to start, Jérome Guery followed as runner up with two seconds difference. Guery placed second with his Kannan-son, Kel'Star du Vingt Ponts. The stage was completed by Celine Schoonbroodt- de Azevedo and het 9-year-old Venus de l'Eyre (Quick Star). Willem Greve followed in a fourth place with his 8-year-old Faro (Calvaro FC) while Filippo Marco Bologni completed the top five with Quilazio (Quidam de Revel). Results
