Gotha FRH retired from the sport

On his Facebook fan page, Ludger Beerbaum has announced the retirement of the 15-year-old mare Gotha FRH (Goldfever x Prestige Pilot). Gotha has had a successful career with both Ludger Beerbaum and Henrik von Eckermann. Together with Ludger Beerbaum the mare won the team gold medal for Germany at the 2011 FEI European Championships in Madrid, Spain. The year before the combination placed second at the World Cup finals in Geneva. In 2013 von Eckermann took over the reins. The new combination immediately claimed the team bronze medal at the 2013 European Championships in Herning. The year after they won the CSI5* Longines Masters Grand Prix in Hong Kong.
