Grand Prix Doha: Spectacular victory for Pieter Devos in nail-biting jump-off

A thriller of a jump-off after only three combinations made it with a double clear round in the CSI5* 1m60 Grand Prix of Doha. It went between Belgium's Pieter Devos and Nicola Philippaerts and Italy's Emanuelo Gaudiano in a all deciding nail-biting jump off

In the first round the three qualified for the super jump-off were it was Pieter Devos who took it all aboard Espoir (by Surcouf de Revel). They dived under the time set by Nicola Philippaerts and his H&M Chilli Willi (by Casall) with 42.18 seconds. While Philippaerts and Chilli Willi finished in a clear round at 44.42 seconds taking second place. Emanuele Gaudiano took all the risks with Chalou (by Chacco Blue) ending up with 4 penalties in 42.74 seconds claiming a brilliant third place. Following in fourth place we found Qatar's Bassem Hassan Mohammed aboard Gunder (by Thunder vd Zuuthoeve) with 1 penalty in the first round today. Ludger Beerbaum and Cool Feeling (by Cornado Nrw) finished with 1 penalty in the second round finishing in fifth place.   Resultaten
