Greg Patrick Broderick takes record win at Dublin Horse Show Speed Derby

The Irish capital is celebrating its annual Dublin Horse Show event. Today the fivestar show jumping riders kicked-off with their 1.45m Speed Derby on the Green grass arena.   The Irish felt like fish in water in this Derby. Resulting in an Irish top six with Greg Patrick Broderick on top. Aboard the 13-year-old Zuidam (by Quidam) Broderick crossed the finish in 80.60 seconds, stopping the clock over two seconds faster as Billy Twomey. Twomey and Ardcolum Duke (by Gypsy Duke) were followed by Shane Breen with Can Y Makan (by Canturo). Breen crossed the finish in 83.81 seconds being the slowest clear round in this Derby. The top five was completed by Dermott Lennon with Vampire (by Andiamo) en Cian O'Connor with Copain du Perchet (by Conteur) in a fourth and fifth place.   Click here for the results
