Grégory Cottard starts day with victory in Lyon

The French rider Grégory Cottard won the CSI5*-W in Lyon. He did that with Regate d'Aure, a twelve-year-old Selle Français mare by Robin II Z. Cottard went clear in 59,61 seconds, a slightly better time than the 59,91 seconds that Julien Epaillard needed with Usual Suspect d'Auge (Jarnac). Rene Lopez and Con Dios II (Colman) showed some Colombian skill. They took the third place with a time of 63,38 seconds. The Brazilian combination Yuri Mansur Guerios and Inferno (Incolor) followed quickly and finished fourth. Ireland also presented itself in the top five.
