Hans Dieter Dreher tops the Sankt Gallen Grand Prix

The CSIO5* Grand Prix of Sankt Gallen, Switzerland, saw a total of 37 combinations at the start. Because of the bad weather conditions a part of the CSIO5* Nations Cup show jumping riders of Friday already returned home. Ten combinations produced a first clear round, qualifying for the jump-off. Eventually Germany's Hans Dieter Dreher, the current FEI World number 30, stopped the clock in 47.29 seconds, turning in the unbeatable victory. Aboard the 12-year-old Cool and Easy (by Contender) Dreher was followed by USA's Lucy Davis and her 12-year-old sBs-horse, Barron (by For Pleasure). Home rider, Janika Sprunger and Bonne Chance Cw (by Baloubet du Rouet)made the home crowd happy with her third place. Greg Patrick Broderick and MHS Going Global finished fourth after already taking the FEI Furusiyya Nations Cup team win. Paul Estermann and Lord Pepsi completed the top five.
