Harm Lahde takes first place at Indoor Drachten

De tournament at Indoor Drachten (Netherlands) was kicked off today with the Lodewijk Assurantiën Small Tour. Winning rider in this CSI 3* 1.40meter speed round was the German rider Harm Lahde with Oak Grove's Flickering Star (Flipper d'Elle). Lahde guided the KWPN mare to a clear round in only 64.05 seconds. Second place was for Gudrun Patteet with Sea Coast B52 F Z (Bamako de Muze). The talented rider from Belgium finished their course in 64.40 seconds. Third place also goes to Belgium thanks to Zoe Conter and Sunday Top HDC (Crown Z). The Stephex Stables rider rode through the timers in 65.47 seconden. German rider Felix Hassmann and Lucky Boy 231 (Lissabon) placed fourth in 66.21 seconds. The fifth place was battled by Swedish rider Irma Karlsson with Ida van de Bisschop (Kashmir van Schuttershof) and Dutch rider Wout-Jan van der Schans with Broere Canada (Nassau). It was a close call but Karlsson stopped the clock at 66.38 seconds and was just a fraction faster than the 66.39 seconds results from Van der Schans. Creating some excitement early this morning.
