Harrie Wiering and Billy King take the lead in the Sires of the World

At the first qualifier of the Sires of the World in Zangersheide it was the 14-year-old Baloubet du Rouet-son, Billy King who jumped to victory with Harrie Wiering in the saddle. The pair speeded to victory in 67,61 seconds. The combination stayed ahead of Dimitry Noterman and his 16-year-old Kannan-son, Bacardi-Rhum de Muze. Together with the Belgian Warmblood stallion Noterman crossed the finish in 69,27 seconds. Local speed hero, Thierry Goffinet, followed in a third place with the AES-sire, Navarro Uk (by Rox de la Touche). The top five was completed by Robert Bruhns (Gepsom, by Gesmaray) in fourth and Bart Clarys (Caspar SSB, by Verdi) in fifth. Click here for the results
