Hayley Waters and Jordan Coyne coclude in style at Tryon Equestrian

Last weekend it was Jordan Coyne who returned home with a smile from the Tryon Park Summer series competition. Aboard her own Lazaro she already ended fourth in the $25,000 Grand Prix. But on Sunday she concluded in style with a victory in the $50,000 Grand Prix National Standard. Setting the fastest clear round in the jump off. Scott Keach and Fedor, owned by Southern Cross Equestrian LLC, followed in a second place finishing their jump off in 41.676 seconds.  Aboard Viriato, also owned by Southern Cross Equestrian LLC, he claimed the third spot in this Grand Prix. From the 24 starters 9 placed for the jump-off where 6 finished without touching the wood. In the $10,000 High Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic it was Hayley Waters and No Doubt who took the first price. Earlier that weekend the pair already ended third and second in the 1.45m competitions. Finishing in 46.796 they finished almost a second faster as Janna Friedman and Zidoctro who were followed by Sophie Simpson and HC Woopy 14. Hayley Waters had a little off-day with Fidele. While winning the 1.45m class earlier, she now jumped one fence down in the jump off, placing fourth. In the USEF Poney challenge 7 horse-rider combinations took a start. Eventually it was Jessica West with Maple Side Knight Spot who ended first. Kara Jones (Echo) followed in a second place while Elly Ficca and It's All Good took in the third spot.
