Holsteiner stallion Cassone dies from colic attack

Cassone, a 27-year old Holsteiner stallion has died from a colic attack. Johannes Vollersen was the owner of the stallion. Cassone jumped on a high international level and was used for breeding at the end of his career. He produced a successful offspring. As a youngster, the stallion won a lot of classes. He competed at the Bundeschampionate and the World Championship for young horses. After that he started his international career and during that career he won 23.000 euro in total. After his sportive career, Cassone was used for breeding. His son Comic Dealer is an approved stallion and his offspring won 100.000 euro in total. One of his mos successful descendants is the eventing horse Cancun. Together with his rider Anna Junkmann, he already won several European medals.
